Welcome To Lombok

South Lombok has become the island’s main hub for visitors. Around Kuta Lombok, surf culture, small restaurants, and boutique accommodation sit alongside rolling hills and wide bays. A short drive leads to quieter beaches, scenic viewpoints, and traditional villages that remain part of everyday life.

Selong Belanak offers a more relaxed atmosphere, known for its long curved beach and open shoreline. Across the region, development continues steadily, but much of the character of Lombok remains intact.

The island is home to the Sasak people, and local traditions, ceremonies, and community life are still visible throughout daily routines. Visiting Lombok is as much about observing and respecting this context as it is about enjoying the landscape.

For many travellers, that balance between nature, culture, and space, is what makes Lombok distinctive.

How To Get To Lombok

Lombok is accessible by air and sea.

Lombok International Airport (LOP) offers regular domestic flights from Bali and major Indonesian cities, along with selected international routes. The airport is approximately 25–30 minutes from Kuta Lombok by car.

Fast boats operate daily from Bali to Bangsal Harbour, and Senggigi Harbour in North Lombok, with transfers available onward to the south of the island.

For those travelling by vehicle, public ferries run between Padang Bai in Bali and Lembar Port in West Lombok. The crossing takes approximately five hours.

We are able to assist with private drivers and transfers from all arrival points.
